Committees split over creating eruv

The La Jolla Shores Advisory Board voted Tuesday to recommend approval of creating an eruv for Orthodox Jewish Congregation Adat Yeshurun.

In the same public meeting at the Sea Lodge Hotel, the La Jolla Shores Permit Review Committee (a subcommittee of the La Jolla Community Planning Association) made a motion to vote against the eruv; the motion tied 2 to 2.
